Sometimes objects on the lawn may damage a cutting plate. If your cutting plate is damaged you should replace it ASAP.
The cutting plate is a consumable part and readily available. Some customers keep one on hand just in case.
The cutting plate is easily removed with a shifter/socket set and a screw driver.
