How to find the % slope of your lawn

You need:

Spirit level
Ruler or measuring tape

Measure the length of the spirit level (X).
Place one end of the spirit level on the ground and hold it horizontally.
Take the opposite end of the level, and measure the distance to the ground (Y).
Divide the height (Y) with the length (X) and multiply by 100. The result is the inclination in %.

Example: If the height (Y) is 15 cm and the length of the level (X) is 50 cm the inclination is 30%. (15 / 50 x 100 = 30 %).
